Dr. Daniel Royal was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina. His father studied at Wake Forest University School of medicine and his mother attended nursing school. After finishing his job as a surgeon in the air force, his father moved from Texas to Oregon, started his private practice, and founded the Institute of forensic medicine for homeopathy. Later, 14-year-old Daniel began working at his father's medical clinic in Eugene, Oregon, doing laboratory tests on the thyroid gland and working as an X-ray technician.

In 1980, he joined the international alliance of volunteer doctors in Hamburg, Germany. After two years of work, he returned to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked as a technician at the homeopathy pharmacy of the Nevada clinic.

He graduated from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas (UNLV) with a bachelor's degree in biology and began studying at the Pacific College of orthopedics. Dr. Daniel received his doctorate in orthopedics in 1989. He was licensed to practice as a patent lawyer in the United States Patent Office. In October 2003, Dr. Royal passed the bar examination and was licensed to practice in Nevada.
